NOTE: Make sure you read the first three posts (in order!) before tackling the rest, or it could be confusing: Post 1 is Designing the future, Post 2 is Setting up the problem, and Post 3 is Estimating basic requirements.

Web hosting recommendations

While blogspot is pretty good for straightforward blogs, it’s clear that my plans for this project require more functionality than they can offer. So, I’m looking for advice on good web hosting companies from those of you with experience.

I need a decently-priced service with some good tools for file sharing, forums, web-forms, and content search. I’m handy enough with HTML, but I don’t have a lot of time to spend developing advanced features.

With those thoughts in mind, does anybody have some good suggestions?

What additional functionality that you require?

I think your comment earlier about using MS Word's outline (and hyperlink) functionality is a good idea. Could you just include a link to a MS word document? Or is there some other functionality that you'd like to leverage?
